ABEREH
BRIEF
Develop the concept, title, and design for Abereh's second album.
INSIGHT
The concept of “Joan-Etorrian” (round trip) is deeply rooted in the metaphor of life as a journey, one that often brings us back to the starting point but transformed by the experiences and lessons learned along the way.
This idea resonates with a universal sense of circular movement, of cycles that are completed and restarted, reflecting constant personal evolution through life experiences.
IDEA
The photographs of fairground attractions as a visual leitmotif for the album design perfectly encapsulate this concept.
The attractions, with their cyclical nature, where each ride begins and ends in the same place, but in between offers a unique and exciting experience, are a powerful visual representation of the idea of “Ida y Vuelta” (Round Trip).
Each ride symbolizes a different journey in life: roller coasters with their ups and downs reflect moments of great emotional intensity, carousels represent repetitive but comforting cycles, and Ferris wheels symbolize the changing perspective we gain as we rise and fall on the journey of life.
The design is not just a cover, but an integral part of the story the album tells, inviting the listener on a sensory and emotional journey that goes beyond the music, one that reflects the perpetual coming and going of life, always returning to the beginning, but never being exactly the same.
